With my eight-plus years of multimedia experience, I constantly utilize design principles in video production, website design, print materials, interactive media, and graphic design. From managing and designing websites for small businesses to producing a documentary screening guide for Colorado State University's Center for Science Communication (CSC), I have developed a robust design skillset that I apply to all my projects.
Below are two recent design examples of mine. First is the Hold Our Ground screening guide for the CSC and a pitch deck that won the Voices With Impact Film Production Grant. To see the designs fullscreen and the multiple pages, use the navigation bar at the bottom of the documents.
I have designed, worked with, and managed multiple websites during my career, working with website builders like Adobe Dreamweaver, Wix, WordPress, and Adobe Portfolio. Websites I have designed include the small business WUI Productions, a transmedia website for my Fishing for More Time story, and multiple others.
Another aspect of my career where I have consistently implemented design principles is in my video production for things like animated text callouts, lower thirds, and graphics. Here are a couple of examples of videos I edited that heavily use graphic design. To see more, go to my corporate video production page.
